This new version fixes the annoying delay that is present in the original game. All players in the lobby will need the new version of the mod. Someone who does not have the new version will not have their delay fixed on their screen or your screen. Look at this video to see the difference.

As you can see it is good but not perfect. Unfortunately that is as close as I can get with modding.
